Very nice indeed! Love that paintwork - it's like a mirror. :y
-
Looks good - great shine :y

Cheers guys ;) Paintwork isnt that mint, rear arches and edge of doors are bubbling, and there seems to be quite a few scratches despite it being machine polished only 500 miles ago! lol
-

How did you get that shine??..it looks stunning.
Machine polisher + 8 hours + a good camera ;D it could still benefit from another polish, not as clean as id like it unfortunately! :( but with the bubbling on arches etc, im holding back on cleaning it up lol
-
Effect is quite stunning ..did you do the machine polishing ?or was it done by a company ??
What sort of price did they charge you,or how much and where did you buy the polisher.
I couldn,t imagine a several year old car could look so highly polished..truly amazing
-
Did it myself. Mines is PC7424 orbital polisher ordered from america, but the meguires g220 is much easier to get a hold of now and dont need to bother with 110v things ;D think they come in around £200, plus you need polishes, pads etc

Thats one sweet motor mate :)
-
ooo aaaah! i'd have that :P not too fussed with the wheels though, i'd prefere less curve on the spokes like the camaro SS wheels (very similar to BBS RK's)
-
smart motor mate!
-
could do with a clean and polish tho, ha ha, it looks mint for a older model, v nice!
-
in honesty it could! haha especially just now, its covered in much from arse end action ;D
cheers for the comments guys!... still to get my coilovers sorted and on, doing cambelt/clutch/gaskets/filters etc soon too lol

Very nice car. Where did you get that grill?
-
Looks VERY nice mate!
The paint finish looks fantastic. :y
-
Cheers guys!
The grill came from ebay - £30 or there abouts.
Fitted some aero wipers and must say, what a difference! screen acctually clears now with no missed streaks or squeeking :D
-
veerryyy nice matey......did you clay it then machine polish?/ - what polish did you use?? :y :y
-
Wasnt clayed at the time, no... was more just a test to see what i was actually working with so just hit it with the polish... was originally only doing the bonnet but the mrs went out so went for the whole car lol used menzerna intensive polish, then final polish, then megs #7 glaze and collinite 915 wax
-
SWEET. I've got one the same & access to trade valeting products. They look great when done but black is a bitch to keep clean.
My mate Steve is the doggies with a machine polisher ( The Boy's tractor) & i'm learning all the different mop heads & thier uses. I'm lucky enough to have 2 good sets of MV6 rims.
Will post some piccies in the new year when she's back in black! :y
-
cheers :y
she looks terrible at the moment tbh, last washed a few days before xmas when i was attending a funeral, door trim tore off on motorway on the same day, and the rusty arches are looking worse - shes currently sittin at the back of my drive unused :-[ lol
-
Alright mate.....
How's you? i finally got a Mig again :y
Yours looks good mate
-
Yea not too bad mucker, hows yourself? :y
Cool, noticed the thread but havent had a gander at it yet ;D mega's seen better days tbh :( starting to get rusty and needs some engine work, taking it off the road til summer or so to sort it out and get the coilovers and what not lol
