It's so light it's scary at times. Very nice for parking such a large car in tight places though.  8)

Al, have you ever tried using a different setting on your 3.2 Servotronic. If not, might be worth ago, the drive might be better suited.

Yes, that made a lot of difference to mine. It was a bit over assisted as standard, and turning down the assistance made it much better.

I didn't even know it had 'settings' or is that a Tech 2 thing?

ooh, another thing to needlessly tinker with when I get the V6 running!  :D

Absolutely, definitely only fitted to 6 cylinder models (petrol and diesel), and not an option on 4 pot models

Exception to the rule is 2.2DTi Elites  :)
Really :o. So that'd be all 2.2 DTi's then?

Nope just the DTi Elite, The DTi CD Estate we had didn't have servotronic so I presume that the GLS and CDX wouldn't have either.

Yep, my Dti Elite has it, checked the wiring diagrams to be sure, seems to be more subtle than my 2.5td. Probably on a different/lower setting. It is lighter at lower/parking speeds and firms up at speed but you do have to think about it to notice it, or it may be I have got so used to it over the years!!

I remember when I got my first Omega it felt really odd and I was not so sure I liked it, rather strange in the snow as well.
