Well, congratulations on being member number 1000......

For the fob......sit in the dirvers seat with the door shut, insert the key in the ignition adn turn until the warning lights on the dash light.....press and hold one of teh remote buttons.....the locks should lock and then unlock.....the key is now synced.....

As for the windows....I suspect a swicth fault.....do you have electric rear windows?

When i follow the advice kindly given about getting key back in sync the electric window (drivers side) that is usually faulty seems to work fine. But key keeps going out of sync. find myself resetting it everytime i get in the car. Anyone got any ideas. The missus says my car is possessed !!! :o

Welcome to the site Andy250862, and you are our 1000th member :y

I think if you follow Marks_DTM_Calib's advice with regard to battery/connections in fob, that would be a good start.

Hopefully, he will also have a spare window switch, so at least you can test/rule out the switch wrt the window.

The fob pulls apart. The soldering can be daunting if you are no good with soldering iron though?
