I was filling up with LPG at ASDACardiff Gate (54.7ppl) this afternoon and there was a bloke on the other side filling up the LPG tank in his Daihatsu Charade!  :D  When I said that he must drive for practically nothing he said that he'd just put in £22 worth of gas and he'd get 280 miles.  :y

I'd rather spend a bit more and drive my Omega, but that is cheap motoring!  :y
Blimey tig road trip for you. ;D

I get about bg!  :y

Trying to provoke a former member into rejoining, but I suspect futile posturing rather than constructive efforts ::)

Futile yes, posturing no. Futile provocation is probably the term you are searching for Al.  ;)  :y

After all if he hasn't reared his ugly head after you suggested that his magnificent black Irmy Elite looks similar to my slightly shabby CDX with it's scrapes, scratches and  £2.74 windscreen wipers, then he never will.  :(   :-\

Sigh!  ::)  ;D

Is 280miles for £22 really that impressive for such a small car? Especially on LPG?

It was a 1.3ltr and he probably rags the shit out of it!  ;D

If your going to go to all the effort of taking the head off, then surely it must be worth a bit more effort to put it back together with a new gasket....  :-\

My mate's first car was a Toledo and it had a rocker cover gasket made from tin foil!  :D  ;D

It worked though!  :y

Nah, I'll still watch him and enjoy his videos. And in all  honesty I wouldn't email and / or comment on the vid because there are so many keyboard warriors and trolls around I'm sure my comments would be seen as trolling. I aim to be in the states this year.... Perhaps a trip to Eric. And Chucke2009 (welding guy)

That make me a bit creepy? Lol  ;D

I'm sure they'd be delighted to see you Webby.  :y
