MOT failure on one thing "emmissions on 2nd fast idle".
This car came in about 9 months ago, previously owned by me, i did the oil cooler in the summer which required doing, and several other bits and bobs.
The previous owner had done something to it, and given up, it had 2 refurbed heads on it cam belt etc etc.. owed him 1500 in repairs, i have spent about 600 on her, and just took her for mot, and failed on emmissions.
When you fire the car up it runs fine, with the enrichment etc, then after the autochoke cuts out, it should idle perfectly, but it hunts and misses a beat now and again, but not always.
I am clueless as to the nature of the fault, and cant be dealing with taking it to main dealer or specialist mechanic as have new project.
It owes me over £1600 but am selling her for £1150 ovno as a project car with the LOG BOOK and everything else.
get that enrichment fault sorted and you have a rather quick car!

Gutted to sacrifice my covert show car i was building, but have a 2002 yorkshire police white car going into livery next week for show use, now this one is no longer needed.
126k WARRANTED mileage, old mot information, thames valley service printout.
THE CAR DRIVES FAULTLESSLY ONCE GOING, sat at idle it occasionaly flashes the EML and has a slight murmur or missed beat.
It has no rev limiter and is good for 108 in 3rd gear (yes tried on a private road not the M25!)
