Heater motor is running consinstatly with adjusting temperature so that's ok, right?
If I set it on LOW it blows like crazy...but warm

Hi guys, it was 25deg outside today and all air con could do was warm air coming out the wents. Both fans are spinning when AUTO is pressed, both stop when press ECO. Tried vacuum one hour after engine was running , hissing  when I dissconnected vacuum pipe  so not vacuum related.
Should I regass it for a start?
Also, I reset it by holding AUTO and OFF buttons for 5 seconds - to no avail.

Replaced "wrong" driver side cam cover gasket...using Vectra's gasket... I know I'm going to hell for this , a bit of fidelling because half moons are added from Omega's gasket but it holds...for now at least. I had enough of leaking directly on to exhaust manifold

I gave them a call before, brakes are fixed, they put new brake shoes on which I allready had in bot so only 30£ to pay. I'll pick omega tonight after work.

And guess what...I have a spere set of new handbrake pads in the boot, they just didn't want to replace by themself...

I've found out what the problem was... while thankfully crusing really easy to find a parking spot I heard a bang again and the rear end of car jacked up....Rear left handbrake fubar...I crippled omega to local garage and went to work, still waiting to hear the news

I went under the car earlier and everything seems ok. Both springs are complete, nothing missing.

Hi, guys. I've been driving today afternoon trough part of town which has really bad roads, pot holes everywhere, really rubish...When suddenly I heard a loud bang from driver's rear wheel side, like it came from under the car. It could be felt not only heard.
Anyway I suspected backbox but all fine there, then I remembered of rear springs.
Those were replaced two years ago so they shouldn't fail this soon right?
I forgot the spring manufacturer, all I know is they are made in Sweden.

I went for 3.0 backbox from ebay, 43€ postage incl. Nice fit and better look than single pipe. It was a little fiddly to get the old backbox off but angle grinder makes wonders

Hi guys, I need some advice. I've found some horse hair coming out of the exhaust last night, pulled out what I could and went to local part shop today. I've been quoted around 80€ for it and a week for delivery.
Does anyone have any recomendation on ebay maybe?
And I would really preffer going for twin pipe exit if 2.5 and 3.0 backbox is the same.

danzigfan, that's quite normal.
I had roughly that amount of mayo in filler neck, back in the days when it was still on the car.
I've removed it 5 years ago - no problems ever.

I will keep the filler neck for now Bojan and I will take a look now into small breather hoses on the top of the plenum to see if there's any gunk inside. Thanks

I learned to live with that  ...like I have a choice, right? Gasket will wait untill warmer weather for now.
