Forgot to say they have replaced both lambda sensors.

Cheers.  Yep, able to stop by any time (week night or weekend) if you have a moment. Much appreciated. Let me know when's best. I did take it in to the garage for the free diagnostic (think they were worrying a bit at not having resolved) & they said it had 'sooted over' and they cleared it and the warning light cleared.  That was last Friday and guess what? It's come back on again today!  They also said before that it might possibly be a faulty CPU. I still have my 2.5 V6 waiting to be scrapped but doubt any of the parts would be of use as this one is an ordinary 2.2?  :'(

Hi guys..  My exhaust emissions light (the orange engine shape light) has come on & stayed on 3 times in the past month on my 2.2 CD.  First time diagnosed as faulty lambda sensor & replaced. A day later it came on again & diagnosed as faulty EGR valve & Rocker head gasket.  That was last Thursday.  Now it has just come on again!  Have spent £600 now on this this month. Garage have offered to take car straight back in & do a free diagnostic to see what is coming up now but could something be causing these knock on failures? :(

Last week my battery light started flashing then my dashboard insts went off & battery light stayed on permanently. Garage said fuse problem cutting power to alternator & changed which resolved yesterday when same thing happened again. Wiring fault somewhere perhaps? Anyone else  had this problm?

Nice to meet u too. thanks for sparing the time - was much appreciated.  do u think is worth bothering with the seat and pinching the motor off my v6 or making do?  if so might hinder me selling the v6, dead or otherwise(!). or should I just perhaps buy a new part?

It's at full height & not adjustable.  Apparently the previous owner was quite tiny.  Thanks for the info link for this problem - I will try at the w/end.  Thanks also for the warning light reassurance.

This one stays on until I start the engine. Manual says should go off after a few seconds.  It doesn't!

Hi guys

Have had my Omega just a week & the electronics warning light (the car with the spanner thru it) is now coming on when turning on the ignition.  It goes off when I start up and drive fine.  I have checked thru related old posts & can't find this previously reported. Do I need to get checked/diagnosed or since it goes off on starting up, is it normal?  I didn't think it was.  Also, driver seat won't adjust. Can hear the motor trying but nothing happening.  Wasnt' sure if this might be related or something totally separate?  Am not technical myself but trying & willing to learn stuff as I go along so as not to be a hopeless female.  I do my own basics myself and my local garage normally does any work but wondered if this might be something you guys could advise on before I take it anywhere & part with my cash?

Hi.  Checked out your forum before & found it v helpful.  Having just purchased my 2nd Omega (still have my 1st - a 2.5 V6 CD auto) I thought I better join & just wanted to say hi.
