Useless! Asked a question on repalcing the ABS sensor, not a single reply.

Digging around the site, found this in their 'guides' section, but its not exactly detailed!

Honest John is putting the sensor at £200+  :o

Could buy an Omega for that  ;D

Stupid parts costs is one of the down sides to owning Jap cars.

Without knocking it, it's not the sort of car that people get that enthusiastic about so I guess the number of owners who are keen to get their hands dirty when it goes wrong is small. Hence not many maintenance guides.

Indeed, most of the posts are about putting huge alloys and bumpers on it, not a long in terms of hands on stuff with the engines.  :(

Its mother tunnies spare car which does come in handy, might go to a halfrauds and have a quick read of a book of 'dangle berries'

Thats the thing, i have no idea what is actually broken, was hopeing the Almera forum might be a bit more helpful than it was.

Might take it down to Nissan dealer for a 'quote' let them find out whats failed, and then source the part.

Cheers for your offer, may very well take you up on that.  :y

LOL, sounds like the MGRover.org forums.  Never an answer to a technical query, unless its about an over bassed stereo, a chavved up bodykit, or 200bhp performance gains from a £8 egay 'supercharger' PC cooler fan.

Sounds about right  :'(

So the sensor is on the strut? Does it plug into the back cover of the wheel arch or something?
