Ive just been reading the boot popper mod thread

and wondered if anyone has made an auto locking as the car starts moving.

I guess the brake pedal could be used to lock the doors (i.e. as soon as you step on the brakes the doors lock) but what about unlocking the doors when you reach your destination.

Anyone thought about this in depth?

i just turned on my car and my radio stopped working. Was fine earlier. it just lights up and says alpine on the radio. Thing is ive taken off the facia as the buttons arnt  responding, but the mid is still removing the date asif the radio is on. Ive parked up in town coz im out, but when i removed the key the mid is still lit up. I dont wanna set alarm incase the mid current draw sets it off. I also dont  wanna drain the battery. helppp. Appoligies if this is badly written im in resturant on my phone worried

All the volumes on my ipod are all over the place. Ive dont the volume equalise thingy in itunes but apparently that just affects the tracks when there played in itunes. I use my pod in the car alot on suffle, and some times i have to have my headunit at 20 to hear a track then the next one comes on blaring out epically loud and prolly damaging my speakers  is there anything i can do to make them all the same volume....tia

How do i switch my lights for driving in europe? I have Projectors and HID's and im sure that i read they dont need headlamp converters as there is a switch....

Ive noticed recently (as it gets darker earlier) That i have no Lighting in my boot. Should there be some kinda light in there as its pretty dark? Woulda thought that a car like the omega would have a lil light atleast in the boot.
If not, im gunna have to hook a light up i think.

I have a 2000 sport (long story, i know) which has the same recaro seats as the MV6 (not leather, p.s. i know all the omega seats are recaro, but i mean the bucket seats). In the MV6 these are heated, as can be seen in these pic's


There the same seats i have.

Now, my car doesnt have heated seat switches, however would they be heated i.e. have the heater pads in them. I dont see why recaro would make 2 different sets of seats, on lot heated and the other lot not.

(ok what a strange thread title)

I have been trying to the last 2 hours to get by alpine iPod connection from behind the head unit to inside the cabin (footwells).
There just doesnt seam to be anyway down. i even tried feeding some thin string down but couldnt get that out into the foot wells.
Are there any tips or hints to get this cable down n out pleassse. Doing my head in now.
Car is a facelift btw.

How can i get a CD outta CDR 2005, with the unit not in the car? i had a CD in there when i removed it.....to then find that the code i have for it is not the correct one so i cant stick it back in the car. Ive got the top cover off, and can see the CD but unsure how to get the CD drive out :/
