Yes. I think the Parcelforce postage costs put him off sending more...  ...that and Mrs TB's sense of humour failure over it ;D

But it didn't match anyway :P

Is this the attempted delivery, that happened, while you where out fetching the parcel I sent you?

You know. The delivery card saying pick up from depo as you where out, because you where out collecting my parcel FROM THE SAME DEPO? ;D ;D ;D
Yours was from RM sorting office, Arsehole Force is 25 miles away.

But yes.  And I too have sense of humour failures, believe it or not :P

You didn't do *anything* to cover your tracks, so this was easily pinned on you. Remember, I know your surname ;)

Yes I don't blame you, but as it wasn't mine, the secure option was used. It wasn't until after it was sent did I realise that you would almost certainly be out, and your posties are honest enough not to hide it behind a bush, or with a neighbour , unlike ours.
I did apologise if you remember.

Obviously I didn't know there was another delivery. Not that will give anybody ideas of course. ;D

....still, at least we can laugh about it now. Eh! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Gone for a brick that's not a great match, but is immediately available.

TBH, its got to the stage where I couldn't care less, we need a garage again.

I've built my own garage recently - 6x4m with an 8ft roller door at one end and a 6ft roller door plus a regular door at the other...  total bill is about £3,900

That is doing everything myself so no labour costs.

Jeebus that's cheap .. I had a quote once upon a time for a similar size garage; £25k.. the lowest was £14k if I didn't want a door! Labour is expensive..

As insurance are paying, all the quotes were high IMHO - the joint garage is the wrong side of £30k.

If I managed it personally, and used labourers as opposed to a building firm, I reckon I could get it under £20k.

That's for both my neighbour's and my garage, which were one building.
