Yup, I remember that night up at the Lakes a few years ago, howling gale and rain........ ;)
Mrs TB and I had no issues that night. In fact were shocked and stunned when we heard of your night :o

Totally finished me off for sleeping under canvas ;D

New caravan, fixed beds, mains water supply plugs straight in (constant hot and cold water supply), central heating, super shower, like home from home :y

Actually, that bloody tent I bought comes with plastic pegs. What a daft idea that is, but they are pretty colours, and....


...no, overstretched myself again, I can't think of anything else positive to say about plastic pegs ;D

Plus they are likely to stay where you have hammered them in and not move when the ground is waterlogged and its very windy.......i bought some 10in plastic 'T' shaped pegs, for 'just in case' last year after the destruction of my previous tent.....the metal pegs kept getting pulled through the ground in the wind  :'(
