Clutch Bleeding - overflow

I understand that the best way to bleed the clutch is using a pressure bleeder and to reverse bleed by feeding fluid in the bleed nipple.

If I do this does anyone have any tips on how to deal with the overflow from the reservoir?

Only bled the normal way with my brother working the pedal

I suppose lots of kitchen roll around the reservoir...........

use a syringe to almost empty the reservoir, leave a little bit in the bottom to keep the brake master happy and repeat if necessary.

Its by far the best method because the long vertical drop from master to clutch slave tends to retain air bubbles, bleeding in reverse pushes the air upwards, which it is trying to do anyway.

Make sure that the pipe from easy bleed to bleed nipple doesnt blow off....it can get very messy otherwise :-[

Or ...... a longish length of CLEAR plastic tube. Stick one end in the header tank and the other in your mouth and suck - very gently. The use of clear tube becomes evident very quickly!  ;D You don't forget the taste of brake fluid!  ;D  ;D
