I intend to keep my Omega going until I go!

But, if things didn't work out, and I came into £10 - 20,000, a Bentley Continental.  Always wanted one as a child - along with a  "Baby Austin 7 - and I still do.

NICE! :-* :-* :-* 8) ;D ;D
I nicked one of joshwyatt's one day, and the bloody thing wouldn't go in a straight line ;D.  Even at speed ;D.  Thing is, it didn't actually feel quick...   ...until you looked at the speedo.  Proper, effortless power but sadly no drama from the drivetrain (just the lack of traction).

No space in the back, Mrs TheBoy, who is a proper shortarse, didn't really fit in the back.
I remember being somewhat underwhelmed by it. Although the under bonnet temperature after a run was quite impressive.
Aside from the complete lack of traction when booting it, the power felt unimpressive.  But then you looked and saw you were in instant jail-and-throw-away-the-key territory....   ...and the bloody thing was still going sideways.

So, in my experience, it was unimpressively impressively powerful.  The rest of the car was too compromised for me though.

TBH, the big black pussy is the same, though lacking the power.  It feels dull and boring when hoofing it, but certainly gets going well....

Yes, but these cars are cruisers, not really meant to be hooliganised.

I liked the look of those at the time. But they were upwards of £35,000, and quite small in the flesh.

I got one of those years ago when the car hire company ran out of Fiestas/Corsas or whatever their cheapest model was at the time.

I had a long trip to do and it was nice upgrade.  :y

Not too bad for a 3.5 litre 4WD

2.6 litre Omega is listed at 17.2mpg around town.
