Facelift heated seats

Just thinking with the headed seats on the facelifts do they swich on and off to keep at the set temp or number i.e 1/2/3/4. When cold have mind on sometimes for most of the trip.

As far as I know, the numbers relate to different temps, you set it like a thermostat,  To be honest, I only ever use position number 1, although I admit if it's cold, it stays on!      ::)

No, I am sure 1 is "Bimble mode" and 5 is hottest. If memory serves . . .   :-/
