I have an I phone and used the "find my phone" app when it dropped out of my bag without me realising.
It sent me an email with an address and postcode.
I went to the address and asked about it, but it was an old couple. They suggested next door. Spoke to a pleasant woman who said she knew nothing but would ask her son when he came home.
She phoned me later to go and collect my phone - result!!
Only 2 days without it but it was strange without it  ;D

General Discussion Area / A38 Tunnels in Birmingham
« on: 20 July 2014, 09:08:58 »
Just as a note of advice if anyone is coming to or travelling through Birmingham City Centre in the next six weeks...... :( :(

You may remember last summer the wonderful company Amey, who seems to run three quarters of Birmingham closed the A38 tunnels, which is the main through route in Birmingham City Centre for essential maintenance.....
They have done the same this year and at 10pm on the 18th july the road closures came into effect until the beginning of September....

If you do come into Birmingham City Centre, be very careful where you go because there are some dubious 'Bus Only' lanes where the cameras fine the cars for entering!

Apart from this Birmingham welcomes all visitors :y

If you look at the end of the Aston Expressway, you may still find bits of my last TT Go.

It died a deserved death, I hope it was painful.

Useless bloody things.

So it was you who added to the traffic problems!! ;D ;D

Deepest condolences, the pain will eventually ease but the empty void will be there for ever.....
Always remember the good times and her funny ways, and the things that you enjoyed together, these will never leave you!!

Have you a 'proper' cycle shop nearby, I don't mean Halfords or the like but a small shop who specializes in cycles?

Where the chassis starts to rise over the rear axle is famous for rot - if it goes you give the LR a broken back. Done this several times with a LR breakdown truck. They will pull anything but not so keen on carrying weight once they get old...

I wonder how many have told the insurance they have these exhausts on, my son bought a car with one fitted, thought no more until he was rear ended, the assessor saw the car and next thing was insurance declining to pay because they were not informed of the modification even though he bought the car as it stood.....

The bosses of today don't seem to appreciate today just how much a 'pat on the back' helps with the daily grind!!

The company should know what coach is doing what route so should be able to track it down.
Worth a call to the company I would suggest - better safe than sorry! Even though all coach drivers dealing with school runs should be CRB checked - for what good it does.....
