Blimey, people getting up to 43 mpg with 6 cylinder engines, I am struggling to get above 26 with my 2.2 auto estate, I know that the 4 pots probably have to work a bit harder but still....... My old 2.0 auto estate could easily get up to 35 and that was not being gentle with the right foot either.  Seems to me that all this extra anti emission junk is just there to waste fuel and create more CO2.  I feel better getting that off my chest!

Hi,  I am a new member and I will probably be mainly a lurker just looking and learning then applying the knowledge gained to good use when working on my Omega.  I hope to be able to help occasionaly but virtually every problem posted appears to be answered almost immediately and I have only limited time in the evenings to get access to the computer.  This is just how it seems to be in most clubs/forums, there are the dedicated hard core group who do most of the work and get involved with socialising etc. and the rest join in occasionally when they feel they have something to contribute or need help with a problem.
