ECU terminal wanted Motronic
« on: 01 October 2007, 13:59:39 »

Does anyone have a spare ECU connector terminal? The type I'm looking for is to go onto a Motronic ECU with round pins, as  fitted to late V6 (2.6, 3.2).

I just need a single solitary terminal with a bit of wire on the end, Black/Brown would be fine.

Thanks.

Contact Bosch for the design then scour Maplins for a pin

If Maplin can't help then try CPC

CPC (or RS) is probably a good bet, it's just that I don't know the terminal type in the first place. I couldn't find any info on the Bosch site or in TIS.

All I can work out is that it's a very small diameter round contact (pin on module, socket in housing), so that rules out previous models which had flat type contacts.

Is it worth just getting a section of loom from a scrapyard and removing a pin from the connector?

Would that I could.

Will have to start looking around in earnest to find a breaker who has a facelift V6. All the usual suspects only have pre-facelift.

The closest I've come so far is that Irmscher V6 breaking on eBay, who asked £75 for the whole engine loom.
