Two spare wheels from Facelift Elite Saloons. probably never been used, tyres will obviously be out of date but OK as spares.

£30 for both

2
Set of four Facelift Elite (Early) 17" alloy wheels.

Getting rare to find now

These are in good useable condition (dirty from being stored), would need a refurbishment if you wanted them immaculate.

Tyres as shown, been on wheels a while so realistically need replacing.

£175.00

Hoping to move house at some point this year and parking four cars just isn't going to be feasible. I also know that the Silver Omega just doesn't get used and is really an ornament. Plan is to pop it in for an MOT then take the 6 pot brakes off it and return to standard setup along with the standard wheels and steering wheel, grill etc.

Once I get around to sorting that out i'll advertise it on here first, not that I think anyone would want to pay what I want for it. :(

I've had this car 15 Years, can't believe it!

Been informed that Autoglass cannot obtain a rear screen from any source..... So if anyone has an Omega Saloon they are breaking and there is any chance they can get the rear screen out without damaging it i'd be interested.....

Omega General Help / Guess what? - An Oil question!
« on: 31 January 2024, 20:00:30 »
So now the supply of GM 10W40 has, errrr, dried up, i've been looking for a cost effective alternative.

Kevin had mentioned a supplier on another thread and looking on their site it appears this would meet the spec:-

Tempted to buy 20L at that price and see how it goes. Any thoughts or anyone used this before?

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / ABS Sensor

C0040-(4) DTC  - Front Right (OSF) ABS Sensor open circuit

ABS & TC lamps illuminate after a couple of miles, DTC as above, spinning the wheel while checking output on diagnostic tool shows sensor is reading pulses, I need to repeat the test when driving and see if it's still working when hot. I have cleaned the plug and socket with Electrical Contact cleaner but connections were already dry and clean and no signs of cable damage / cuts. Dont believe the reluctor ring is rusty / damaged but difficult to see without removing bearing assembly (I've never yet removed a front bearing and seen damage / rust in this area on an Omega)

Has anyone ever had a loom cable failure between sensor plug /socket and ECU? I ask because I note the loom cable runs underneath the airbox and I recently had this removed, wiggling said cable doesn't induce the fault so not sure where issue lies without further poking and prodding!

Long shot I know, but does anyone have any new, genuine GM cam cover gaskets they want to sell?

General Car Chat / Buying cars....
« on: 17 July 2021, 13:42:50 »
Why is it.....

When you aren't looking for a specific used car (model / spec / options) you see plenty of them but when you are in the market and have everything in place to buy one, you can't find one!  ::)

I guess part of the problem is being very specific about the model, spec, colour etc but I can't see the point of buying a car with a lower spec than you want then having to source all the options and retrofit them.
