I have just been told that you now have to buy the covers to get the gasket! £445. Are there any good gaskets out there other than vauxhalls?

My reverse gear lifter is now disintegrating, many bits and split in two. Are there any out there or others that will fit?

Left door speaker knackerd, the foam has dropped to bits and gone sticky. Given its a 97 with what seems to be 6" speakers (sc 804 radio and cd ) what would be a decent replacement. I expect the drivers side will be the same.

Where can you get the rubber bits on the door grab handle (closer) Both sides. Also the reverse selector under the gear knob?

Hi,
As our baby has now reached 21 and I have retired it's time (when it's warm) to start doing some of the jobs that have been put off and off. But as the miles have been very low 1000 for the last 5 /6 yrs I don't think there will be too many problems. Gearbox oil. Diff oil. Both original..worth changing? All other fluids which are about 3 years old will be done. Vacuum pipes? There has to be a leak somewhere as the air inside the car stops blowing in when the engine is under load, uphill. Bonnet and boot struts just done. What a difference.
Getting some bits of rust now in the usual places, but looking forward to many more years of luxury

Just been reading a previous posting on cam belts from eb@y. I always use a motor factor for gates or conti and have never had a problem with either. My question is, since our Omega now only does about 1000mls pa should I get the whole kit inc water pump or belt only? 1997 2.5 petrol.

Drivers side rear quarter there is a plastic piece behind the grey trim. The front of the rear bumper cover fastens to it. Does anyone have one. Cost?
