WANTED - Estate with t&t.
« on: 19 January 2014, 21:31:50 »

Hi all.

I'm looking for an estate. I'd consider any really as my budget is £500. I'd prefer something with tax and test as I've got no more money to spend.

I'm a bit tired of my golf convertible as I've got two dogs and they try and jump on my knee when I'm driving.

Any help would be very much appreciated. :y :-* :-* :-*

Quite a simple fix if you follow the "cut,n,shut" method and expect to spend no more than £50 with new parts.Matrix can be sourced from a faxtor but my advise is to buy the 2 o rings from dealer which are needed to seal ipes inside bulkhead to new matrix body.

If you dont adopt the above method its a massive job as entire dash needs to be removed so best advise is leave well alone.

Does need asking why matrix went though as could be underlying coolant issues also ,maybe oil cooler or worse. Not too sure why its still being driven if its leaking through matrix as normally you bypass the matrix with a tubed sleeeve.

Questions need asking first ,Kate

Thanks for that advice. :y

This one sounds too risky for me as I can't do any repairs unless they are very basic. It's a shame as it's a lovely colour.
