imho.
Michelin Pilot: Expensive, Good in wet, last a long time
Pirelli P7: Cheaper than Michelin, Good in dry & v predictable on limit, poor in wet & not so predictable on limit
Nexen CP641: Cheap, Good in dry & v predictable (better than P7 in this respect), Drift well  ::) as Omega is beautifully balanced, Lasts approx 20k when used with enthusiasm  ::)
Pattern similar to Pirelli P7 and doesn't look out of place on car. Suits Omega as well documented wear on shoulders of front tyres can negate durability of Michelin's and Continentals.
Enjoy

My Omegas always had Michelins which were OK, apart from one time that I had the Contis. IMO the Contis were better-suited to the Omega though.

Hi all - I've ben using Vredestein Wintrac Extreme. Not the cheapest or dearest depending where you get them from - but they wear well, excellent in the wet, no problem in the dry, they don't tramline ..er .. like a tram.. ;). Look quite smart too. The Quadtrac though - on the front tramline like you wouldn;t believe.... :(

Anyone got some good recomendations for the 17" Elite 235/45 rims - I'll be in the market for a pair fairly soon :y.

Thanks
Ian.

tbh when i need some will be doing the p-zero route, had them on m 850 R (235/45/17) excellent in the wet and in the dry and up the drag strip lol gave them loads of abuse and they wore really well must say not the cheapest bout £100 a corner i think from memory but a very good tyre, stuck well in the bends wet or dry( thankgod lol )
