No speed awareness course 
I think the limits vary with individual forces but North Yorkshire has an upper limit of 89mph on NSL dual carriageway and motorway for a course to be offered.
I would be expecting a court appearance if you/he was +30mph over, if you were actually +30 over or just guessing.

It will be just waiting game now to see if they take it any further.
I`m still waiting for UKCPS to take me to court, although I think the e-mail from York City Councils head of parking might have deterred them a bit

It's not difficult to change yourself. I did one on a caravan site .... remove the wipers & the scuttle panel from below the screen & you have just enough room.

I did mine while it was still attached to the car, bit of a faff but not too bad.
If you take the wishbone off then realistically you will need to get the four wheel alignment done whereas if you only remove the front bolt you won`t need to get it done.
That alone makes it worth the hassle.

The latest 370z`s have that, which is just wrong in a 3.7l V6 car
It has to be disabled by a dealer too
