Slower and less powerful than the Monza I do believe

Keith ABS

Not a pretty either  :y

Just watched the second in the new series....Toyota supra from the 80’s. A surprising fact, to me, was that the straight six produced 145bhp and made 60 in about 10 seconds. Weaker and slower than my diesel astra, yet was considered very fast in it’s day.

It wasn`t until the MKII came out that it got really quick  ;)

They are without doubt an excellent car.

It was interesting to read about the development of the chassis and suspension and where the design came from.

A very underrated car for sure and I like the fact that they`re not a common sight.

I`d rather have an MX5, it`ll handle better, quicker and being Japanese it`ll be more reliable.

Oh and if you`re after one with a bit more oomph BBR did a turbo conversion :y

The MK1 is getting pricey now.

I did it on my Windows phone but for some reason after making a call I have to unlock the screen to hang up and it`s really annoying.

Quite an easy job to do but I don`t know if my issue is with the replacement screen being faulty or if it`s something I`ve done  :-\

About three years ago in the van after some stupid dry liner had dropped some screws in the car park, must be five or six in a car.

They don`t seem to be as frequent these days.

I've got a picture of my 928 taken in the same spot. He also reviews one of these....

Here is a nice comparison for you, new meets old  :y

Very nice, both of them.......looks like an original 240Z to my eyes. :y

It is, the lad has just joined the Nissansportz forum as the split was taken at the motors by the moat at Leeds castle last May  :y

The yellow 370z was on the car sos programme that featured a 240z restoration  ;)

It is Lord Opti, it's very good too, wash mitt just glides over it and leaves a really good finish  :y

It's not rocket science.

Pressure wash the whole car to get rid of any 'welded on' crud. I then mix some Meguiar's car wash with water in a bucket.

Pressure wash the car again and then dry with an assortment of soft scratch free cloths.

No waxing.........no polishing.......and as for bars of clay forget it.

Done and dusted in less time than it takes STMO to walk the whippet and then watch fascinated while it takes a 'runny dump' :y

Not a bucket to be seen with my method.

Gentle rinse with the pressure washer, no blasting the dirt into the paint.

Use the snow foam with the lance attachment and leave for 15 minutes.

Gentle rinse again.

Use Meguiars NXT generation car wash with lance attachment and wash with lambs wool mit.

Gentle rinse again and dry with drying towel  :y

I use Bilt Hamber finis wax every other wash  ;)

I know that plenty of you lazy bastards are happy to pay a bunch of 'illegals'  £5 to run a gritty sponge over your car. I'm not. :D

So in true Dunkirk spirit I braved the cold and did it myself. ;)

I enjoyed a well deserved bottle of San Miguel for my trouble. :)

I was going to the Datsun today but it`s a bit bloody cold for that  ::)

Like you I do my own  :y
