Ugh! Is it TD Lift Pump time again?
« on: 19 September 2014, 10:12:38 »

Starting a bit dicky the other day. 1st thing yesterday morning maybe 5 seconds before spluttering into life. After a short run a painful approx ten seconds. On trying to leave work that eve, maybe 15 seconds, I was ready to just switch off and give up. All this with less than a 1/4 tank full. (Range 45 miles at 25mpg town driving)

After putting in £20, so approx 15 litres diesel, started immediately.

Just wanted final confirmation before I go hunting out a TD lift pump that I can't especially afford right now (trying to mend the V6 and get her back on the road) is there anything else I can rule out?

Thanks gentlemen  :)

Forgot the leakoff pipes!

As far as I'm aware fatherdear did them with a good quality (non-GM) replacement - have a funny feeling Peugeot ones are recommended??

I'll have a nosey in the morning, thanks!  :)
