OE and much more expensive than the Omega ones plus I've bought genuine plugs which are Iridium and 100000 mile change time, thought I would do them while i'm there ::)

The Omega is first to be sorted this morning. Thanks for the parts Jon :y

Since Windscreen replace trim has lifted at the corners, screen fitter has just refitted and sealed  :y

Who's car did I see with a similar problem lately? Can't remember. Pauls?

Needs sorting or the lip the screen sits on will rust, swell and then discolour and eventually crack the screen.

Omega has been sorned for a year now but I am able to drive it up and down the 200 yard private road to the main road . I'd noticed the engine management light coming on and knew it was the cam sensor that I'd changed a couple of years ago fitting a non OE one. I got a genuine GM one this time and fitted and light has stayed off . Was waxoyling the BMW E24 I'm restoring so did the inner sills ,inner rear arches and any dark cavities that I could find underneath the Omega . Messy job but very satisfying.
BMW is all painted now and all external trim fitted , interior is being refitted . Replaced and refurbished all the windscreen and headlight washer system , 14 m of tubing , 8 NRV's and 6 tee pieces . What an overtly complex system just to apply water to windows and lights . Severe mission creep has attached itself to the resto though...... ::)

Have you got windscreen cover, and hopefully a chipped windscreen?

Been busy with the soldering iron today .Fitted a fused spur from back of main fuse box, thanks to great advise from Al,and I now have a proper ignition feed to my Dab receiver.

Can now listen to Planet Rock without needing ignition turned on which on my job is quite usefull as ofetn have time to kill between jobs.
