have had two problems arise on the t reg 2.5 elite est ,the alarm started while driving twice ? was raining ? and the auto sticks in park when i start her acouple of times, have turned on and off and it seems to sort itself is this imobiliser or alarm thowing a strop i seem to remember a conection between brake and auto shift operating. other than that very good,not checked oil in auto box yet getting her on ramps tommorow to change diff oil.

alarm problems could very well be a duff power sounder (under driver's side of the plastic scuttle )

Not being able to shift out of Park is usually down to a duff brake switch, even when your brake lights work cos there's two sets of contacts in it.
