VW dealer goof

Had my shed of a peugeot in to a VW main dealer for MOT today and mini omegod spotted this  ;D ;D. Oh how the sales staff laughed when we pointed it out to them.

It's obviously a mistake, after all no one would have actually ordered a brown Beetle.

It would be funnier if the last bit of the reg plate read XOR. [/geek joke]

Just bought a VW and I live on the Wirral - Hope that is not the Dealer I used !!!!!!!!  :o :o :o :o :o (as I now go in the Garage to check front and back plates are identical on my mota :y)

Left one has Rear Mud Flaps !!!!!!!!!  How can they miss that  :D  :D  :D They are clearly different mota's ::)

When I worked for Corus (British Steel) our managers company car,top of the range Ford had different number plates,only when the mot was carried out was it noticed.  It failed!

Similar thing...many years ago while i was a manager at Partco,we received our new van and my young lady delivery driver used it for a week before I noticed the front number plate was correct while the rear plate was one digit further up the reg.. :y

About 10 years ago I bought a Triumph from a dealer with a years MOT. They put a shiny new number plate on it with their logo on. It had all the right numbers and letters - just in the wrong order.

I didn't notice it until 12 months later when I took it to my local bike shop for a new MOT. I had done 9 or 10 thousand miles in that year without being stopped.
