Hi all,

I sold my mint 190e Merc a while ago and have itchy fingers, so the choice is either-

st165 celica GT4 around 86-89

E28 M535i BMW of similar vintage

I dont think you can beat a bit of old school cool espescially on classic insurance! Im keeping the Miggy by the way.

Can anyone link up a couple of decent pics as I dont know how to ?

Any opinions welcome

General Discussion Area / rather Burglars!
« on: 06 February 2009, 12:56:41 »
Popped out with the missus after our tea last night about 7ish, Mobile went about half an hour later, the neighbour to say the alarm was going off and someone had tried to bust the patio door in.

Thankfully they seem to have legged it when the alarm started!

Lucky for me I only installed the alarm 2 weeks ago after not being bothered for 15 years! No real damage but the Missus is flapping big time and now wants to move.

Apparently they knock on the door and if no answer they have a crack at the house, two more were attempted nearby, sadly one was succesfully burgled.

Anyone for a lynching party ? BTW I recommend the Friedland wireless alarm system from B&Q, does the job for £200.

You know , at the time ,when a lot of my mates were into them I never really liked Queen but I ended up seeing them play at some festival and must say, they were excellent live. Was fortunate enough to go to the original Live Aid where they were easily best band there. Used to go to a lot of gigs , sadly, with work and little enough time for family been a while now. Ones I'd loved to have seen: Beatles, Doors,Hendrix,Cream and I really regret not having been able to see The Jam or Oasis, Would love to go to Buddy Guys blues club in Chicago too.

I saw one  of their first gigs, they were warm up for someone. must have been six people there and we all wanted to knock Liam out for being a tosser, they were pants then and still are now.

I did catch The Who twice,Page and Plant, Crosby stills and nash, Aerosmith, Nirvana, Beastie Boys, to name but a few-The Who rocked the hardest though!!!!!

Got to be Powers Irish whisky, you can't really get it over here so trips to Kildare to see the family see me stocked up.

Copped for a bottle of the local potcheen last time, jeesus I swear you could run your car off the stuff.

Since she split her husband about 5 years ago she has had her problems, but the last year or so she has taken to do her washing that ends up doing the spin cycle at 3am.

Is she sitting on it?
