Whites are accused of cultural appropriation for wearing dreadlocks, but a black Anne Boleyn is ok, apparently.
Don't worry chaps. Swings and roundabouts.
I look forward to seeing a 'white Ali' .......white 'Nelson Mandela' and a white ' Malcolm X' in the near future.
.......except I won't live to see it. It's a one-way (woke) street.

I partially disagree here. To me, it doesn't matter if they cast a black person to play Anne Boleyn, the colour of the actor doesn't affect the story being told as race is not part of that story.
Now if you cast a white person to MLK, that would be wrong, because his story is all about race and repression. The only way you could tell this story with a white MLK, would be to swap the roles of the black and white people, but then the story wouldn't be the same and the point is overshadowed by casting choice.
Just my opinion.

It's not a 'story' though, is it? It's history. Let's make Hitler a chink, shouldn't affect the story
