Howdy
« on: 21 May 2009, 22:11:34 »

Hi peeps. I'm, as some of you may have guessed, new here.

Main reason i'm signing up is my dad has an Omega 2.0 16v pertol. I figured if he ever has problems then being a member could help. And i want to have a mooch around the Classifieds

As for other cars, i drive a 205 GTi with ITBs and megasquirt
my dad also has a kit car which we spend a bit of time on.

More about me, i'm 22, currently at uni in Derby, doing a Motorsport Engineering degree. and i realy like cars. and a bit of MTBing.

I'm on a few other forums, but not really anything of this nature, being for a single model. hopefully i'll get on well.

Thanks for the warm welcome, it's always appreciated.

As for techie!!!!!!!!!!

I can help with the merits of vortex generators to combat flow detachment and heavily divergent surfaces, or maybe give an insight into the organ pipe theory roots of inlet manifold tuning, and then maybe some CAD and CFD should it be needed, but when it comes to helping with more normal stuff, i can sometines stumble, LOL.

Saying that, i'll always try my best to help where i can.

Thanks again for the welcome.
