Serek is Your man most definitely. I was new to the world of Omega ownership last year and ask for advise on a few issues. I kept getting told to go and see Serek. I won't go anywhere else now, he certainly knows his way around them.

Omega General Help / Re: Bolt dimensions
« on: 14 December 2016, 20:02:00 »
Rear bottom bolts. I've think they're M14 x 76 and either 1.50 or 1.25 pitch. But not which.

Omega General Help / Re: Fan Temperature Switch
« on: 28 September 2016, 03:57:32 »
UPDATE
The fan between the engine and radiator does come on but not at a great speed, I switched off a internal blowers and left the car running. Temp gage went to 95 and still nothing so switched on my heaters and both fans either side of my radiator came on (odd I thought).
I also noticed that unlike a few months ago the fan would keep running when I switched the car off, it doesn't do that now.
All help and advice is appreciated

As a quick note......
When I say the fan is kicking in. The fan at the front of the car is working, the one between the radiator and engine doesn't appear to be, or I haven't seen it working.
Which fan is which?
Many thanks

Omega General Help / Fan Temperature Switch
« on: 27 September 2016, 22:18:41 »
Hi all again.
After my trip to Devon (lots of hills) from the flatland of East Anglia I've noticed that my temperature guage appears to be rising above the "norm". When I say norm, I mean as it did prior to my trip to Devon. So just looking for a bit of advice really. Whilst on my way to work tonight, sat at a set of traffic lights the guage slowly Rose to just under 95 on the guage then dropped (assumed the fan kicked in then) to 86 ish.  It always used to sit at a steady 86/87 irrespective of being stationary or not. Is this normal?
When I got to work I left my car running, popped the bonnet and waited to see if the fan came on, yep it came on just fine, but this time at about 92, then dropped to 85.
Am I right in thinking that I should perhaps start looking at changing the fan temperature switch?
I regularly check (at least once a week) oil and water levels and they are as they should be.
2002 2.2 cdx dti
Many thanks

Omega General Help / Aerial
« on: 01 August 2016, 10:28:42 »
Hi again all.
Before ripping the old aerial off the roof and replacing with a shark fin  (due to spoiler fitting), are there any other suggestions? Also, does anybody know if I would I need a powered aerial or normal aerial for a 2003 CDX Estate with a Philips CCE 2006.
Many thanks

Yesterday I had my front wishbones and rear doughnut bushes replaced. Big thanks to Serek and his crew for carrying out the work, made it look so easy. Now for two new tyres.

Cracking car, and we'll looked after. Same colour as mine. Can I ask what cleaning products you use?
