Famous well almost !
« on: 22 April 2016, 12:04:03 »

In the May issue of Mercedes Enthusiast Magazine they ran a buyer's guide to the W210 series explaining the pleasures & pitfalls of owning one, it seems that very few decent examples exist, well I wrote in & sent some pics of my E430  which they say is quite a rare car in the UK & one in the condition mine is in is even rarer ! They are publishing the letter & pics in the June issue, well pleased.

Yes love the V8  pretty subdued until you hit about 65mph , then a real rumble begins ! Went to see about a stainless steel system from Longlife Peterborough yesterday but just too expensive at £925.00 offered me a cash deal for £750.00 & then told me I would have to leave the car for 2 days for the work to be completed, one look at the crowded work area was enough for me, no way would I leave the Merc there,so will stick with what is on there.
