Ebay or your nearest motor factors.

Although if you're only doing that mileage, are they bad enough to warrant changing?

Only ever changed front bearings on one Omega :-\

Considering that most of these cars are scrapped with their original bearings, they're really only worth changing when they fail. If they were ordinary taper bearings it might be worth removing, cleaning and inspecting them(I don't see the point of doing this on a car, although it's SOP on aircraft) but it's not possible on sealed bearings.

I think that's why I changed the one I did, although that had more to do with having it replated following an accident repair as I didn't feel the need to give the council any excuses not to replate it rather than because the bearing was actually bad.

I would rustle one up before the next test*, but probably wouldn't fit it unless it fails.

Chances are that it won't fail and you've got another year to deal with it  :y

*presumably Thursday, hence the urgency...

I had one replaced on my Omega .... I provided an OE bearing & someone else fitted it for me.

Don't ask Nige ....  ::)  ;)

I suppose it's just me guys. I bought genuine Vx Mv6 front springs and shocks some years ago, which weren't cheap. 2 years ago Serek fitted new wish bones with poly bushes and a Vx brake discs. As I'm due to visit him this Thursday for a water leak issue, possibly Hbv if I can make it to Huntingdon. I thought while I'm there let's get the Mot advisory for play in NSF bearing sorted. I need to delve deeper on water leak, a litre of water in 10 miles is not good :(

That should be easy to find...

If it is the HBV then it can be made better or worse by setting the climate control on both sides to HI or LO  :y

 Tbh, for the price hbv cost just change it,  big but time my last one turned out to be leaking pipes that went to matrix,not hbv,  Had hbv and by luck the pipes too. ;)

If it's an advisory, YOU need to check it. There's no point in changing stuff that is working properly.
