Took some pics this morning, they're not great but will do the job (I hope). Gonna do a bit of editing, shall I post them here?

There's a how to for a facelift dispaly removal in the maintenance section here.
If yours is pre-facelift let me know, I've .......errr......."borrowed" a how to  ;)

They're the twist in dash bulbs

Yes they're replaceable.

Actually this is a bit of a strange one, I heard last week that they're legal to sell but illegal to use (until next Friday that is), see here. I'd expect a lot more of them to become available soon.

The only audible warning I have is when lights are left on.

Just a thought, but if your playing copied CD's (bought originally & copied for your own use of course); burn them at the slowest speed possible, older players struggle to play copies burnt at high speeds.
