Working from home during the week, which is fine for the project planning (PPPPPPP) and daily support stuff, obviously can't do any site installs / upgrades currently and site visits only allowed if we have loss of critical infrastructure.

Have been doing a bit of training and dabbling with projects at home i've been meaning to do but not had the time or inclanation beforehand.

Usual routine nice walk with the dog, finished treating the fence panels kebabs chips & a beer lunchtime , a million miles from some poor folk around the country.

What lockdown?

I've been at work as usual today. I still haven't been able to fix the cars or do DIY. Why? Because I can't get anything I need. I can't order stuff online for delivery as we are both key workers and there is no one home. I can't go out and buy what I need because everywhere is shut. Oh, that lockdown.

I hope you guys are doing better than me?

Well, so far, after two days and in no particular order...

1. Horsey types and scaffolders get far too much leeway.
2. DVSA like issuing fines.
3. Don't drive in Euro land.
4. See 3. Ever.
5. This should have been available online from the day it was introduced.

Joking aside, it needed doing, so not complaining  ;)

Given a free choice, doing a HIAB and FLT course would have been more practical and a full ADR course would be a better use of a week. May do those anyway once Batflu is done with, depending on what happens with the day job... My plan until mid March was to do my A1 Licence :-\

 So basically nothing,

Scaffolders have always been a favorite target,.
DVSA only fine as a last resort,  I've been given words of advice, Very rarely get pulled, all depends on your status on the pass rate.

Driving in Europe is easier than here, again stick to the "rules" and your left alone, ,,

Hiab ticket yes, make sure it's the right one. Lots of class 2 builders merchants need drivers.
ADR,, not worth it, unless your looking to do refueling at the Airport.

Ironically, ADR isn't needed at Gatwick... ??? Doing it would be more of a mental exercise.  ;)

There are a couple of builders merchants locally, so that certainly remains an option :y

The problem with having ADR, lots of company like you to have it, but don't pay a premium, like they should,  some small fuel/ heating oil companies will, you average class2 haulage/palletways won't.
Yes gives you another feather, but cost wise, nah, the hassles involved with pallet type work and adr/ term cards etc.

Probably earn more, doing hiab work for a small scaffolding company. :)

Better still, take class1..
