General Car Chat / Annoying little shits.
« on: 30 November 2023, 12:32:47 »
Had the same problem last year.
Why do the manufacturers not make 'rat poison' more lethal. So lethal in fact that it drops the little bastard before the poison has even reached it's tiny belly.
This latest mouse( I think there is just one) has consumed roughly 3 times it's body weight in poison yet it is still coming back for more.
Commercial rat poison is piss weak.

General Car Chat / Launch control fun day out for the little Mexican
« on: 12 November 2023, 13:41:09 »
She now has around 2300 miles under her wheels and feels quicker than when I first had her.
Launch control...... put the car in either sport or sport plus, then switch of all traction control. Press down hard on the brake and pin the accelerator to the floor. Then release.
Not a proper M car but surprisingly quick.
It is illegal to travel faster than 70 MPH in the UK, so both acceleration runs recorded on a private track.

General Discussion Area / Mower oil.
« on: 18 October 2023, 13:16:56 »
Most petrol mower manufacturers recommend SAE 30......which I don't have.
However, I have plenty of 5/30 left over following an oil change on my desirable Vauxhall.
So, is 5/30 OK?
The 4 stroke OHV 173cc lump only revs to 2800 RPM.
