unknown cable
« on: 22 September 2010, 20:52:04 »

Hi folks im after a bit of information i was tidying my tools up in the boot of my elite estate today and while i was at it i had the cd changer out and behind it i found an unplugged eight pin connector and what looks like a small screw type connector (scimilar to a sky connector but smaller ) i guess these may be something to do with the built in phone on the head unit ?? any ideas would be appreciated !! :-? :y :y Cheers Rob

Yup.  Mine is a Saloon and it has the same multi-plug and aerial connector, but mines under the parcel shelf.

It's for the American 'On-Star' system, which is unusable outside of the USA.  :y
