Today, I had another blood test. Because the doctors want to increase my intake of Ramipril, from.1.5 mg per day to 20 mg per day over the next month.
I have the blood test. Results come back on Friday. And the staff ignore it, because it will show my kidney function as fine.
Then I'll spend 30 mins on hold to try and persuade the receptionist that I need a doctor to phone me, and discuss the next step up.
So I thought I'd say "can you make me a telephone appointment on Monday, so that I can be prescribed the higher dose as soon as possible"
No you have to ring up and go on hold. Last time, I was  23rd in the queue.
Why? Why? Why?
Am I too stupid to understand why they can't make an appointment in advance?
Eventually they agreed. 2 weeks after the test results come in. Some time after 12 noon and before midnight.

Then I've been packing. Done 4 loads of washing. Most of it now dry.

Start new job on Thursday. 1 day in office, in Hinckley, 2 half days from home.

We are staying in our other house (sounds decadent right?) For a week. Taking the cat.
I haven't worn "work" clothes since March. I've lost 2.5 stone. My suit is too big.  I found some trousers from the early 90s which now fit again.  I may add weird fish jumper and go casual.

Printed off another wheelie bar for the completely insane Kraton, main bit was a thingiverse thing, but had to redesign the wheels to stop them flying off the bearings, as the first attempt did. Also strengthened the main bit, as the thingiverse original was a bit poor really.

Finally got to the opticians to get my eyes tested. Meant to go at Easter, but the lazy sods were closed :D

Could do with getting back to work though... :-\ If only to pay the opticians :-X

Thanks, pretty pleased with it, the paint is not automotive quality but, its a tractor  ;D

The engine has had a complete re-build, pistons, liners, head, crank grind, new mains/big end/little end bearings, injectors etc etc. The cowl is an original, very rare in this condition apparently (good quality originals go for up to £500!).

Still need to do everything rear of the gearbox  :-[

Come along then, chop chop ;D

What's its post restoration life going to consist of? Mostly static displays at the centre, or does it have a specific job(s) to do once ready?

Was going to post-print finish it, but as I suspect it will be battlescarred after first use, not sure I CBA.

Can I borrow it, with the trailer, for similar use around here?
