Coming on a treat Mr DTM  :y

What are your plans for her when she's finished?

Early starts to get a paper on a Sunday morning and maybe a 28 foot trailer to drag down the A52 during caravanning season  ;D

To be honest, its been an interesting project and I quite enjoy a trot out on something a little more sedate and unusual (although I will have to get it registered once its finished!)

Do you not have its original Reg Number ?

Research shows its never been registered.

Thankfully you can get age related registrations, needs a bit of support from the owners organisation (photos of serial number, casting dates, engine number etc) to get a letter of confirmed age from a recognised org  :y

My kit car is on a Q, it's my biggest regret with the think as it's more or less impossible to get it off AFAICWO.

Buy a new chassis, get the running gear 'rebuilt' and swap the lot onto the new chassis and register that?

Once a Q, always a Q.

Not that it's all bad.

Yep, Q unless you can evidence the age of key items or show new used.  :y

When I get around to changing the engine, box and brakes, I was debating 'scrapping' and re-registering it.

I assume it would have to go through the latest SVA though, which would be a ballache.

Dropped SWMBO off in Newmarket, then had a lovely hike along part of the Devils Dyke. Never met a soul, lovely.
