1st purchase would be to pay off all my bills.

Second purchase would be the retainer of a very good accountant

Third purchase would be the retainer of a very good solicitor.

I would suspect stolen and recovered then paid out judging by the bits of dash that have been removed

Most are barely single use  ;D

But yes, the quality ones are night and day better

Don’t even use Ikea Allen drivers, find a suitable Allen bit and use battery powered driver on low setting, lot easier and quicker 😄

Omega General Help / Re: Steering wheel alignment and geometry

I might be wrong here but for some reason I have it in my mind that there is an arrow on the steering box body and another one on the pitman arm that shows the centre point of the box?

Omega General Help / Re: Question about sprockets
« on: 14 February 2021, 16:02:45 »
Is this a 2.0L 16V, X20XEV?

This being the case the exhaust side cam sprocket seems to be the expected one size fits all design, part number #9041776. One size fits all because it has dual positions for the dowel and is marked with inlet as well as exhaust. This sprocket is supposed to be on both cams.

Are you able to confirm the part number on the inlet cam sprocket, I can't quite read it? Perhaps this has been replaced at some point?

Yes, X20XEV

Original cam sprockets, history of the car is known.

Mine has the 2x different sprockets and runs fine with timing marks all lining up. Single lug sprocket on inlet and duel lug on the exhaust. Would post pic up but nowhere to host it at the moment

Omega General Help / Question about sprockets
« on: 13 February 2021, 15:33:13 »
Questions for you all, purely out of boredom really.

Why do some X20xev engines have 2z cam sprockets with both inlet and exhaust locations and markings and others only have this on the exhaust cam but a fixed sprocket on the inlet?

Both cam seals changed again, looks like I potentially missed a bit of contamination on the end of the cams whilst rebuilding it (in the cold and rain) so have changed them up, fitted new seals and all appears good so far. Time will tell....

Need to change the cam sprocket bolts though as they have been reused about 3 times now and the exhaust one is “wobbling” at the head when the sprocket is perfectly fine. Easy enough to do though.

Put it back under Central Govt command personally and remove the mayoral position.

Remembering, of course, that London is a left wing stronghold.

TB would be a good initial choice.

Put it like this, if “President Khan” happened to fall over in the road in London and I was driving along, I could not guarantee being able to avoid him and stop in time, even if I had to drive halfway across London to get there.

The Conservative muppet is a proven two-faced untrustable liar with his own agenda (be good if he fell down at the same time and place as Khan).

Put it back under Central Govt command personally and remove the mayoral position.

Looking at the list of candidates for the mayoral elections in may, he is quite likely to get another four years:

I ******* hope not

Sod it, got them anyway.

Will cost more than that for a pair of rear discs and if they are YellowStuff pads (description says GreenStuff) will happily send to someone on here for postage
