How cool would it be to do the run together over to Lodz.......!!!

We are off in May so the timings only a month out this time, but maybe next time eh !!

How much are you paying for the ferry going your way Geoff.....?

Short answer, no.

Mentioned this before, but bought my Omega at 84k its now 132k 4.5 years later, in that time:

1 cam sensor
1 coil pack
1 themostat
1 cam cover
1 set of tyres
2 cambelt kits
loads of oil and coolant
1 exhaust
1 set of rear springs
1 aircon condensor
1 set of brake disks

lastly 1 track rod end....

All spread over the course of 4 years, not bad really. Most are standard service items, only things that have 'failed' are cam sensor, coil pack was being a little 'lumpy' at low revs, and under load. It was fine all other speeds, i just decided it needed changing. Aircon condensor sprang a leak.

As said, rest, standard service items on any car.

With TC & DIY on most things, its been uber cheap to run.

Well said-welung666 is a star and we have arranged to meet next weekend to get it sorted.  As I said if it wasn't for him and OOF, I would have binned the car long ago.

This is the point of OOF-and I am very glad of it  :y :y :y :y

I think I have had all of the cars issues over nine years, compressed into three months.  By the end of next week, only the bodyshell and glass will be original  ;D


most cars are produced with 5 years of economic and a maximum 10 years of usable lifetime (although we dont let them die) ..otherwise all factories would go bankrupt.. some exceptions may exist but thats rare..

Sometimes mate the only person you can blame for a bad egg is the previous owner for failing to keep up with the maintainence on it,just sounds better that way i think.Ive never had any problems with any vx ive had,and thats why i will always have vx. :y
