Hi guys, MOT is soon and I know my rear diff bushes are kaput, looked on ebay for poly resin, just want to know what strength I should buy thanks

They won't fail the Mot unless the idiot jacks it by the diff :-X
I went solid with mine... together with poly donuts it made the back end solid, allowing the suspension to work properly.
Depends how you drive and want the car to feel on the road :-\

I bought the stiffest polyurethane I could find.
The fixture I made to hold the parts together is a bit excessive, but it does make doing both mounts simultaneously much easier. Now the worst part of the job is removing all the old rubber.

It works fine. The fixture holds everything where it should be.
NVH decreased because the the diff is now attached, not just relying on gravity.

(And not for the first time I'm impressed with the skill in making a relatively simple mould - if I were to try I'd probably end up in Casualty...)

No, I thought not.
I can still smell the one I tried to do, and that wasn't even this century ;D
That fixture is intended to be reusable, a one-off could easily be made from some waxed paper and duct-tape.

No, I thought not.
Not a diff bush, but the remains of a shock mount on one of those Ford based "vintage sports car" kits... My boss told me to... He regretted it when we could no longer see the other side of the yard... :D
Niw what the bloody hell were they called? Panther, maybe?

You need the polyurethane to bond to the metal. So getting it to be completely clean, and shiny should be considered the minimum. I found a razor sharp scraper, followed by 80grit sanding discs to be effective, if boring.
