I've just been reading latest copy of Auto Express and Brabus have just brought out a new super car.
It's a 7.0 Litre twin turbo V8 that produces.......wait for it........1005BHP!!!
Top speed is around 270 and 0-60 time of under 2 seconds!!
This makes it faster than the Bugatti Veyron and at £300,000.00 a damn site cheaper. Please God, let me win the lottery so I can have one

Anyone see Sundays edition of Top Gear? Absolute quality!!

I'm so pleased that I'm not the only dummy about when it comes to car mechanics and engines - Clarkson was bl**dy useless when it came to assembling the Caterham 7 - anything that couldn't be done without a hammer he couln't do.

Loved the scene where Stig stopped at the services and as Stig walked away from the driving game in the arcade, all the top 10 scores were Stig

Love or hate Clarkson, the show just gets better and better.

Had a minor 10k service done yesterday and was pleasantly surprised that I was only charged £75.00 [smiley=happy.gif]. I thought this was very reasonable as this included usual stuff such as oil and filter changes, plugs and various checks including gearbox and diff fluid levels.

The only downside was that they said my front shocks need replacing. This confirmed my suspicion that something was not right up front. Can anyone give me any idea of much this is likely to cost?

After seeing a couple of mentions of this in the Vectra VXR thread, thought it would be a good idea to start a dedicated Stig thread

R McB thinks maybe it's Martin Brundle and I suggested Mark Blundell. We know that the first Stig was Perry McCarthy who was well known in racing circles but not so well known to the public, so it could be that the current Stig is also someone not so well known.

Maybe someone out there knows for sure, so come on lets hear from you

Prior to getting my Meega, I had (no guffaws please) a Citroen Xsara 1.9 turbo diesel estate - sh*t car but reliable and good fuel economy of approx. 45mpg.

Since I got the Omega which only averages 25-26mpg, the price of bloody fuel hasn't stopped going up, and I read in today's paper that fuel prices are set to reach a new high due to the bloody idiots in the Middle East that never stop knocking two tons of sh*t out of each other

However, I found a website called petrolprices.com. Enter your post code and it will tell you where the cheapest fuel can be found in your area....how cool's that 8-) I admit that there's usually only a few pence per litre difference, but every penny counts as far as I'm concerned!
