If you're in Europe, then it's basically a rebadged Omega and should be treated as such.

If you're in the US and miss your Omega then yes, buy it.
As his profile says Lithuania, if he waits a year or two he might manage a Zil.
People don't always change it when they move and I chose not to presume ;)

As he has only registered on OOF 3 days ago,  he is hardly likely to get his location wrong, and have moved in that time...... ::) ::)

Rust proofing underbody components is a good preventative measure, but depending on the anti rust substance used and the diligence of the person applying it, the protection of metal parts is a good idea in principle, but some anti rust waxed based products, whilst great on metal parts, are harmful to rubber components if carelessly applied and can cause rubber bushes / hoses etc to degrade and become like jelly.
But I presume your man does know what he is doing :y

Omega General Help / Re: Guess what? - An Oil question!

That oil in your link is suitable for petrol and diesel engines, and appears suitable for the Omega relative to the API rating.
GM oil for the Omega was SL rating but a higher rating is ok to use, but personally, I would try to stick with as near SL as possible as the engines are now quite elderly and modern engines have progressed.
This link goes a long way to explain oil specs.

Equally, I don't suppose much harm will come from using oil of a higher API rating....but there is also the ACEA rating to consider too!!
