Astra F
« on: 31 August 2007, 14:26:35 »

My 'clever' son has put his SRS/air bag light on on his Astra F by ..... continuing to drive it when the charge light had come on when the 'fan belt' came off (probably triggered by low voltage)  :-?
I have a cheapo Tech II for my cars however his is the older Tech I connector. I've been quoted, from those few who were able to do so, fom £30 to £50(vauxhall :-?) to turn off the light.

My question is ..... can you buy a "cheapo Tech I" to talk to the older Vauxhalls rather than line someone's pocket for less than 5 mins work?
TIA

Just to answer my own question clicky
It might be useful to  owners of the earlier Omega with the older diagnostic socket ..... providing of course it works ::)
