Omega General Help / Micksgarage and cheap wishbones

Looking at getting new wishbones for my Omega and came across an Irish website called Micksgarage.com.

They have wishbones for £24 a side plus £5 postage. Are these a bargain? Or just too cheap to possibly be worth risking putting on my car? Anyone used the site before? Cheers

Omega General Help / Mirrors dont fold on impact

Had a minor collision the other day and destroyed the wing mirror of a parked Astra with my Omega mirror. What struck me as odd was that the mirror didn't fold back on impact as you would expect. Is this a common problem? Has something rusted/seized inside the mirror?

I gave both mirrors a shove and couldn't get them to budge at all. Anyone experienced this before and know how to fix?

Also an hour or so prior to this in an unrelated incident my mirror glass randomly dropped out of the mirror and smashed when I closed the door! Any ideas where to get a new glass? I think halfords used to have them but not sure if they'd still be able to get hold of one these days..

Omega General Help / V6 Exhaust gaskets?

I've bought a replacement cat-back exhaust system from Poland and have booked it in for fitting at my local garage. They asked if I have all the gaskets.... Should there be gaskets between the catalysts and the mid sections? If so, where's the best place to find them?
