Shame but given the amount of drugs he consumed over the last 55 years or so, its amazing he survived as long as he did.

Tom Karen aged 96.
Seems he died on New Years Eve, if you mean the chopper bike/Bond Bug guy.

Designed the Scimitar GTE, I think.

Didn't Princess Anne used to own one? :)

David Crosby 81 ( Crosby Stills & Nash )

I was expecting this but to me it is profoundly sad .
I believed DC to be one of , if not the  best singer/songwriters I have listened to throughout my life . I first saw him in 1972 ,City halls Edinburgh with Graham Nash in a set that played way past it's planned time due to the audience refusing to leave . Saw them again at the EPIC CSN&Y 1974 Wembley concert and a further four times since .
All of his songs when played bring back many memories from different phases of my life.
Even his last album " For Free" recorded when he was touching 80 is just superb .
I listen to his music almost daily still and have a few tracks that I go to when a bit of solace is needed .
Just another part of life's journey gone .
RIP David , I can only say ...Thank you .

I think the horsey royal owned about 5 or 6.

The Reliant factory was literally down the road from where we used to live. There would be rows and rows of plastic pigs out front in an attempt to seduce people with just a motorcycle licence. :D

I bought my FJ1200 from Devimead motorcycles which was virtually opposite the plastic pig factory.

I saw a plastic pig in Exeter the other day. First time I've seen one on the road for ages.  :)

On reason they are a very rare sight on the roads nowdays is that most of them are being sent around the shale and tarmac ovals of the country being banger raced.
Its amazing to see what spees are possible without the tipping over after seeing just how sedatly they were driven on the roads
