breathers.
« on: 21 April 2023, 16:19:41 »

So had to remove the plastic breather connector from top of engine to give me bonnet clearance with the intake pipe, made up 2x 10mm copper pipes to fit between throttle body and Y shape hose. That is the same as the plastic housing and that bit is okay. Question is the 2 small pipes that come from Breather box, what are they for ? vent system. If so they can be deleted as no fuel tank vent connected.

Fuel tank purge is one of the smaller ones. There's a secondary smaller hose to the breather box behind the 135 head ;)

Concerning the two smaller spigots on the breather bridge. Looking from the front of the engine with the bridge mounted then the right hand small spigot connects to the carbon canister mounted in the wing via the purge valve. The left side small spigot connects to the small spigot on the breather box on the back the head. Same breather box that the bigger Y hose connects to.

So I would imagine that you can plug the purge connector spigot if the carbon canister / purge system is not installed. However I suspect you may need the one for the breather box.
