Isuzu pick up.

I can understand why driving a Triffic would be preferable, but it's not much of a choice  ;D

Loaded my Bus onto a trailer to drag it all the way up to Wolverhampton in the morning to get the gearbox rebuilt by the TVP (Tragic/Vivaro/Primastar) specialist. Then back home again with "it" dragging the trailer with the D40 on it. D40 is so juicy, worse than an Omega!

What's a DH40?

Like a D40 but with an extra H

Finished up the rear air suspension delete on the Alabama Mumsybus by removing the ecu for it. Have a persistent ABS light, in part because the slight raise of the rear end from steel springs was confusing the suspension ecu, which in turn was throwing an ABS fault.

Now that's cleared, it still complains about not getting a good signal from the osf sensor.

Sensor removed and cleaned and no change, so next job will a new front wheel bearing...

Now I rarely go to Milton Keynes, I have to wash the car myself.  1 bucket and a 49p Tesco sponge, and some turtlewax (because a few years back, Halfords had it on a silly offer, and I got loads.  And they both get a wash annually, whether then need it or not.

Brakkers is devoid of eastern europeans, so no sensibly priced hand car wash places here.

I did do the lazy Autoglm 3 part Polar wank on mine just before its MOT.  As I did no other real prep, I thought I should present it clean!

What's a DH40?

Its a Nissan Navara D40 pick up
Towing that back home with the Vivaro was far nicer
As nice as the D40 is, being a Tekna speced one, the Vivaro is so much a better drive

Just reminded me, I’ve got a new, still in the box, set of four of the later D40 alloys in my garage loft. My son had the D40 Aventura, which had decent spec like nav, reverse camera, heated seats etc.  If you need a set of new alloys going mega cheap give us a shout.  :y

Got my backside in gear and fitted the oil cooler to the Omega engine, ended up using the original top cover as the Vectra one had a very deep corrosion pit. All the rest of the bits cleaned and fitted, stuck again till I have the funds for a cambelt and clutch kit.

In front of me, on a dual carriageway, was a Tesla
Rear plate was unreadable, even up close
Plod swug around me and compleatly ingnored the tree hugging do gooder in the electric planet saving car that was breaking the law and drove past. he waas not in a hurry so could have easily have seen it and done something about it but no.

I'm not buying a Tesla, just to be "invisible" to the plod  :D
