This conversation is the bain of my life, I'm a Telecoms engineer, the amount of customers who ask me how to get rid of this pain in the grass...  Unbelievable!!!  The worst scenario with nusiance calls, is when a customer gets a new line or a new number and it just happens to be a dissused fax number from a previous, possibly bankrupt customer...  Marketing servers which send out junk faxes at the early hours of the morning to save costs, wake these folks up and screech at them...  they are often withheld too!  try tracing than one!!!

Many years ago, I used to do SFIO, and 90% on this was arranging traces (before digital exchanges were commonplace).  The other 10% was dealing with nutters and people with voices in their heads ::)

I havn't got voices in my head, but I have this little place in my kitchen where the tiny people live. I know they are there even though I can't see them.  How do I know they are there?  Because when their door bell rings, it goes on for ages and I have to pick up theire funny little house to make the noise stop, that's when I can hear them!  They know me too and always say hello. Weird eh?  :-/

My mom went 18K once.  6 months later the cam adjuster died.  It has fiddly little oil passages.  Coincindence?

New adjuster was 250 quid, plus cams out so cambelt and cam cover gaskets.  It had 84K on the cambelt, so that was due too.  ::)

My excuse is if the garage do it......they will shove it up in the air.....so i will get the chance to poke about underneath looking for the water leak (they dont bother about all that health and safety nonsense and let customers wander about the workshop) plus i dont have to drive to the other side of swindon to queue up to get rid of the old stuff

Oil change disposal? Easy

You need one old Dulux tine and One bus stop.

1. Put old oild in Dulx gloss paint tin. Replace lid and wipe clean.
2. Leave at bus stop.
3. Enjoy as harry the pensioner takes home said tin of white gloss.

Oh the fun of being ronnie. ;D
